Automatic syncing keeps the products you display on WordPress "in sync" with your Shopify store. For example, if you change the price of a product in Shopify, this will automatically show up in WordPress.
WP Shopify provides shortcodes that allow you to display your Shopify products in various ways. This gives you flexibility to customize how your products look and which functionality to include.
Unlike the Shopify Buy Button, WP Shopify does not use iFrames to display products and collections. Instead, we embed products directly allowing you to customize products and collections to your liking.
Product Detail Pages
WP Shopify will create product and collection detail pages for you by syncing your Shopify data as WordPress posts.
Fixed Cart Tab
Like most eCommerce sites, WP Shopify allows you to place a "cart icon" anywhere on your site. You can also enable a "fixed" icon that locks to the side of the page. This fixed cart icon follows the user as they scroll.
Image Crop and Sizing
WP Shopify comes with the ability to adjust the size and crop of both product and collection images. Within the plugin settings, you can set the image dimensions of the product featured images and thumbnails seperately.
In addition to dimensions, you can set the crop location. For example, if you set crop to "center", the plugin will attempt to resize the image while keeping the image centered.
If you set the scale property, you can choose to load a higher-resolution version of your image. Setting scale to 2 will load an image twice as large, setting to 3 will load an image three times as large. For example, a 200x200 image becomes 400x400 and 600x600 respectfully.

The selective sync feature in WP Shopify Pro allows you to choose what "type" of data will be synced as native WordPress posts.
Sync By Collection
Instead of syncing all products, WP Shopify Pro allows you to only sync by one or more collections instead. This is useful if you have many products and only want to pull over a certain segment.
WP Shopify Pro provides 27 different webhooks allowing you to listen for specific changes happening inside your Shopify store. You can provide your own code within a callback function that runs on each event.
These events include things like when a product is updated or created. When an order is processed, or when a collection is updated.
Dedicated Live Support
When you purchase WP Shopify Pro you gain access to dedicated live support via our private Slack channel. In addition to chatting in real-time, your questions will take priority over thousands of other users on the free version.
WP Shopify Pro provides cross-domain tracking via Google Analytics. WP Shopify integrates with the GA Linker plugin and takes care of storing the tracking cookie during checkout redirect.
You will still need to add the corrosponding google analytics code to both Shopify and WordPress.

How does this all work?
You can think of WordPress as the frontend and Shopify as the backend. You still manage your store (add products, change prices, etc) from within Shopify and those changes automatically sync with WordPress. WP Shopify also allows you to sell your products on WordPress and is bundled with its own cart experience. After installing the plugin you can connect your Shopify store to WordPress by filling in a few form fields containing your Shopify API keys. View our tutorial video here.
After syncing, you can display / sell your products in various ways such as:
You can also optionally create product and collection single pages by syncing your store. This enables you to harness the full power of the vast WordPress plugin ecosystem.
- Programmatically through the plugin’s Render API
Do you have to be a developer to use this?
You do not! Everything will work out of the box. However, if you wish to do medium to large customizations then you’ll need to know basic CSS and PHP.
Does this work with Shopify's Lite plan?
Absolutely! In fact, this is our recommended Shopify plan if you intend to only sell on WordPress. All plugin features will work with Shopify Lite. This is a great option if want to save money.
You can read more about the Shopify Lite plan here.
Do you provide a cart experience?
Yes! You can see a live example by viewing our demo page.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a full 7 day refund policy on all initial purchases regardless of tier. Refunds do not apply to upgrades, renewals, or monthly plans.
Just send us an email with your name and license key to let us know that you’d like a refund. Once you let us know, the refund should take 5-10 business days to process.
